Today, 16th May 2024, Tecnove participates as a collaborating company in the III Vocational Training trade Fair organised by the IES Gregorio Prieto de Valdepeñas. CEO of Vocational Training, Mr. José Rodrigo Cerrillo Patiño, and the Mayor of Valdepeñas, Mr. Jesús Martín Rodríguez, attended the event.

The aim of the conference was to offer students the opportunity to explore the wide range of Vocational Training available at IES Francisco Nieva and IES Gregorio Prieto, to meet  diferente companies, and to attend various talks.

During the talks, they highlighted “the state and future of vocational training”, and the first-hand experience of former students of IES Gregorio Prieto, about their training in workplaces and their job expectations, and finally, a debate between the collaborating companies, teachers, administration officials and former students to share their point of view and experience with Vocational Training.

The main activity of the conference was the creation of an exclusive space where companies and students had the opportunity to network, in order to get to know better the expectations and experiences of both parties. In our case, we were able to interact with students of electricity, computer science, administration, automotive and commercial.

The experience has been very positive, as it has allowed us to get to know in first person the concerns of future professionals and introduce them to the various areas of Tecnove, generating curiosity in them about our activities and giving us an idea of the interests and needs of future professionals who will be part of the working world in the coming years.

The students have participated in practical workshops of various professional families, among which have highlighted the catering prepared by the students of the Hospitality and Tourism Vocational Training, where the companies and students tasted the preparations made by themselves.

From Tecnove it is a pleasure to be able to participate in these events and meet the future professionals who will be part of the different companies in the region. Where they will be able to carry out their internships and put into practice what they have learnt in their professional training. We wish them the best of luck in their professional future.
