The TERECO (Thermodynamic Container Energy System) project will consist of two main assemblies:  

  • A thermodynamic system for ACS generation, together with a collaborative aerothermal system for heating generation.
  • Electricity generation is achieved by means of a photovolctaic and wind power system.

The result is a self-sufficient complex for its use and operation.

The aim is to achieve a system with which different problems can be eliminated or minimised:

  • Reduce CO2 emissions.
  • Eliminate the use of fossil fuels.  
  • Reduce the cost of transporting fuel for energy generation.
  • Dependence on other associated systems.  

The final objective is to provide an overall solution that satisfies all of the above objectives by integrating them into a demostrator.  

This project has been financed by the Ministry of Defence, Directorate General of Armament and Material, and Subdirectorate General of Planning, Technology and Innovation. The execution and development of TERECO takes place in 2018 and 2019.
