HYPRINT
TECNOVE continues with the firm conviction of investing in I+D+I as a necessary element to advance the company´s competitiveness and develop increasingly technological products. In this case it´s HYPRINT, which has awakens, from the outset, passing the corresponding Technical analyses carried out by the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI), an organisation dependent on the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness.
Thanks to this, it has been co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (FEDER), within the Operational Programme for Intelligent Growth 2014-2020, with the aim of promoting research, technological development and innovation.
HYPRINT aims to manufacture new hybrid organic-inorganic luminiscent devices by printing methods for application in different industrial and consumer sectors. This recent concept is considered as the third generation of ecologically sustainable low-cost lighting diodes, representing a real alternative to conventional LEDs and OLEDs in new technologies for low- CO2 lighting. Research in this field is expected to provide great benefit, economically, socially, and environnmental.
This project has been carried out in a consortium that convers the entire value chain, from the production of the materials necessary for the construction of the luminous devices, to their subsequent launch on the market, both nationally and internationally. The consortium is made up of CESMEN (a company of the TAURUS group, coordinator of the HYPRINT consortium which was in charge of applications in household appliances), TORRECID (inorganic materials and inks), IMPLASER and GRAFICAS VARIAS (printing of the devices and applications for safety signage and labelling, respectively), TECNOSEÑAL (applications in corporate image, signage and communication), TECNOVE (vehicle instrumentation applications) and FICOSA (automotive applications).
The project has covered an implementation period of 38 months from November 2014 to March 2018, during which the companies have completed each of the milestones initially planned. The execution and development of HYPRINT has resulted in a total budget of 579.327,82 €.
